Lyrics

People talk, but they don't say a word.
I'd rather listen to a Firebird, or when a
Les Paul chats with a Strat. They sound so good
you know I like it like that. Around midnight,
you hear them wail, like steppin' down on a
Hell-hound's tail.
Let's have a Blues Conversation.
A little Blues Conversation.
Lord have mercy, who's talkin' to me in a
Blues Conversation?

Another voice that sounds sweet to me,
Is when someone's jammin' on a Hammond B3.
Guitar & Organ with their ebb and flow -
back and forth and around they go.
They take their turns playin' rhythm and
lead. It's Blues Heaven, baby, yes indeed!
Let's have a Blues Conversation.
A little Blues Conversation.
Lord have mercy, who's talkin' to me in a
Blues Conversation?

You heard 'em sing, you heard 'em cry out loud.
The way they communicate makes me proud.
You heard 'em easy and you heard them rough.
But let me tell ya, child, I can't get enough.
'Cause when you listen, you hear them say:
"Keep talkin' Blues, brother, every day."
Let's have a Blues Conversation.
A little Blues Conversation. You gotta
give me what I wanna hear, a little
Blues Conversation. People gonna shout
when they let it all out and have a
Blues Conversation.
(LET IT OUT NOW, BOYS!)

Love the guitar work both rhythm and lead parts. Nice Strat sound. Like the B3 rides.
Fun blues song. Reminds me of some of the Beale St. bands from back in the day.

Classic blues boogie beat and vibe here. Excellent musician ship and performance. Very well recorded and arranged. Great work.

Hope to hear this track in the movie musical! Catchy song, quality sound, cool lyrics!

Nice toe-stomping piece with great instrumentation and backing vocals and a really vibrant flow.

Truly a blues convewrsation.... literally! This is the ultimate call and answer blues song of all time.

great, I loved everything about this tune, recording was fantastic, story was fun and the performances were right tight, just really impressed with the quality here, FANTASTIC!

Sounds like you are all having a great time on this track - great guitars and a really good vocal delivery - loved the backing vocals.
All instrumentation really strong - a definite top track any day of the week !

cookie cookie. Love it! heart wrenching blues. would travel to see this. Smoking hot guitar!
if that's not a B-3 I've never heard one! had me dancing in my chair! I believe you are already on the blues top 10

This is a song that's great fun to listen to. Has a great theme of conversation between the musical instruments. I love the three guitars. The minimal drums hold the beat without taking over. The organ is beautiful to hear! Great touch with the female vocals. Great ending!

I like this track. It was a fun listen from start to finish. Some good n tasty blues guitar licks licking around without too much slobber. Guitar tones were good and the rhythm section (MIDI I am assuming) was nice and tight and left plenty of space for the guitar player to do his thang. I had several Favorite lyrics throughout the track but my very fav one was the one near the top of the track that said something about people talking but you'd rather listen to the sound of a Fire Bird. I couldn't agree more even if I tried. I love the sound of my 67 Fire bird in the morning. If gold had a sound I think that's what it would sound like to my ears.

I can see this song playing in a small town bar room scene in a movie with a brawl breaking out. Maybe like in the movie Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze

Good beat, easy party vibe goin on. Well produced and well performed. I particularly enjoyed the organ it came out about halfway through the song that joined the electric guitar The interplay between the Oregon and the electric guitar was very nicely done and in my mind with some of the best part of the song.

Loved it!!

The entire recording is great! Nice arrangement with a solid showcase for guitar work! The rhythm section arrangement is on it. You've got all the bases covered with the organ in there, too. Good stuff, indeed! Want more!

This song makes me want to dance. Hard to tell which instruments I like the best. The bass is smooth and steady. The wailin' lead guitars rock out like crazy - so much fun to listen to. Very expressive, fun playing. Lead vocal crystal clear. The female background vocals are sweet and fun to listen to. Lyrics are fun and original enough. The mix is phenomenal. You've got me smilin' ear to ear with this fantastic song. Jam on!
