Lyrics

Walkin'. Walkin'. Walkin' down the road I meet 50 million people -
they're walkin'. They're walkin'. Walkin' to the beat of The Lord.
Moses (Moses), Moses led the people out of Egypt into freedom -
they're walkin'. They're walkin'. Walkin' to the beat of The Lord.

Now everybody's got their problems, and everybody's got their pain.
I thank The Lord for the sunshine today and the farmer thanks him for the rain.
Some people fall into money. Other people fall in love.
But I fall in to that big-old line that's headin' up to Heaven above.

That's why I'm walkin'. Walkin'. Walkin' down the road I meet 50 million people -
they're walkin'. They're walkin'. Walkin' to the beat of The Lord.

Now Cain wasn't able to save his soul, but Jesus' grave had a rock that rolled.
He rose to Heaven to cleanse us all and He welcomes you back Home!
There's hope for the non-believer, and people who can't decide.
But God said: "Live your life by the Golden Rule" or there ain't no place to hide!

That's why we're walkin'. Walkin'.
Walkin' down the road I meet 50 million people.
They're walkin'. They're walkin'. Walkin' to the beat of The Lord.

Now you can call on the congregation!
You can call on the telephone!
You can call on the name of the sweet Lord Jesus
and you're never gonna be alone!
That's why we're walkin'. Walkin'.
Walkin' down the road we meet 50 million people -
they're walkin'. They're walkin'.
Walkin' to the beat of The Lord.
Walkin' to the beat of The Lord! (YEAH!)

Everybody walkin'.
One foot down in front of the other, walkin'!
Everybody walkin', yeah.
Keep on walkin'.
Everybody, everybody gone walkin'.
Keep on walkin' now!

Wow! This is so cool! So chic high quality live music production. Such pleasant motives, such deep arrangement, beautiful voice, delicious solos! Sounds very expensive. I think many people would listen to this track on repeat with great pleasure.

This is great, instrumentation great, vocals great. perfect mix. All I can say its perfection. Again great vocals.

Nice big, fat sound overall. The guitar sound is really nice, as is the guitarist's choice of notes. Good job on the lead vocal. Nice breakdown section at 2:15. The arrangement builds up nicely, by the end it's huge! Good job.

I am very impressed with every aspect of this song, the writing, the selection of musicians, the performance, the recording.

All instrument parts are performed perfectly. The mix is great. The subject is awesome of course, because God is Awesome! This is a fun song to listen to. Though this would probably not be allowed by the music industry to cross into secular realm, it should be a hit on the gospel charts for sure.

Zing! I love this song! It totally rocks! Chorus/hook is so crazy singable...you had me singing along in no time. The instrumentation is perfect and really augments the dynamic energy of the song and lead singer. Love the simple intro. It mimics each footfall. Great background vocals. Flawless recording and production/mix. Fantastic clarity. Original, fresh lyrics. Can't say enough good things about this song and this band! Ten stars!

Awesome vocals! Loved the arrangement and choices of instruments. Great message! Loved the beat and drive to the song. Melody is catchy. This would be awesome on radio. Very professional. Well produced.

Phenomenal!I totally loved this! I give you 10 stars! Everything about this song was fantastic! The instrumentation was TOTALLY AWESOME! Lyrics, vocals, hook and arrangement were all on point! This was a super good listen and let's not forget the story/message behind the song. It too was great! You did a wonderful job on this one! LOVED IT!
