Story Behind The Song
The piano riff came when I was improvising on my keyboard. I'm not a pianist, my instrument is guitar, so the piano part became a real challenge. There is no guitar track in this project. Arranging the orchestral parts was tough but it has worked out (to the untrained ear) very well.
The title "The Drawing Room" came from the fact that there is a hint of Downton Abby about the music and I was imagining country life when the title came.
