Same Old, Same Old
Tired of this conversation
Truth be told, I think it's over
This chapter's done
This story's come to a closure

Same lies, same chill
Don't like the taste of this
I've had my fill, enough of this side show
Here's food for thought
I'll be gone by tomorrow
I'll see you later, or not at all

I've watched your fall
Threw you some lines to hold onto
Answered your call
But now you're too far gone
We were like family, now we're not even friends
So to save my soul,
I've just gotta let go
Of your,

Same song, same dance
You've played your last recital
No more, no chance, it's time for the "Final Curtain"
No flower bouquet
No tears, now that's for certain
We're done, I'm gone

There was a time
When the sunrise knew your smile
Bitter words were not your chosen style
Before you,
Sold your pride
Killed your dreams
Traded love for some magic beans

Instrumental verse

I've watched your fall
Threw you some lines to hold onto
Answered your call
But now you're too far gone
We were like family, now we're not even friends
So, to save my soul, I've gotta just let go
I've gotta let got of it
Of your,
Same Old, Same Old
Same Old, Same Old

Great performances in this song. Very cool jazzy feel. I think it is very placable for sync. Nice work.

Very interesting chord progression, and it's extremely well-recorded. Almost leans towards a Steely Dan vibe but definitely more Blues than Rock. This has a lot of potential for tv/film.

I always enjoy your stuff, and this is no exception.... good job...

Wow, this really is blues to me, but regardless very cool Steely Dan vibe, high compliment! I like the vocal, genuine sounding, structure of the tune is very cool, as well as the SEEMINGLY "all over the place" melodic structure, but I think what we have here is brilliance, and not the same 'ol same 'ol...very very well done! I like the massive use of the minor chords...again, damn well done, and NOT the Same 'ol!

Interesting chording giving a jazz flavor to this tune. Good, and unexpected, use of strings. The entire mix was very well done. Nice work on the keys throughout! Good vocal phrasings to work with the instrumental rhythms.

This is a sweet sophisticated piece. The singing and playing are both soulful and the arrangement is beautiful. Wonderful job!

Piano tone sounds awesome! Vocals are spot on also! Very laid back tune... excellent for a film placement! Love the guitar tone as well. Keep it coming!

good overall production. love the piano intro and in general how the piano moves in the song. song is sexy, moody, good lyrics. Voice is really good for this song where the singer is inmerse in the feeling of it. very good work

I love keyboard! Strings on the bridge are a nice touch. Tasty solo.

Liked the spare textures, the dissonances and the subtle (drum-less) groove, requiring the listener to do a bit of work.

Excellent work. Great tune and arrangement. Fantastic performances both Vocals and instruments.
