Lyrics

Maybe it's just a trick of the mind
Little random thoughts
I haven't yet defined
Since you offered this new equation
It's required close consideration
Been addin' it up
Maybe it's love, Maybe

Maybe I'm not fully immune
Easily caught off guard
Trapped by the pull of the moon
Seems I've got this "you" fixation
And realize it's pure speculation, but
If I had To guess
Maybe, it's love

Detecting changes in my attitude
Feeling resistance slowly fade away
Out on this limb
Throwing caution to the wind
There's a chance I'll make it
I'm willing to take it

Maybe it's love, Maybe it's not
Maybe it's just some sneaky virus that I've caught
Some form of rare psychosis
That up 'till now I've refused to notice
But, then again
Maybe it's love
Maybe,
Just Maybe

Gets off to a nice start with the stereo guitars. Good vocal delivery with a touch of Randy Newman in there (a good thing). A nice arrangement and a good sounding recording.

Very well written and tuneful pop jazz tune. Sort of a combination of Mose Allison and Michael Franks . The kind of tune that was popular back in the 70's. I like everything about this arrangement. The way the sections weave together, the subtle chord changes. The play fullness of the lyrics. Maybe it's great.

you taken Love to a different level

Intro too long
Nice vocal
Sounds like its off a Toy Story movie
Feels a little disjointed in its flow - not pop - more like jazz pop

Quality recording, I enjoy the live feel. There's so much to love about this song. Jazz infused pop, reminds me of Joe Jackson. I like the break down with guitars and bass and then the swing change was a cool surprise!

Love the laid back feel to this song!!jazzy, smooth, romantic! Could hear this in a film!! Really nice vocals!! Great chord changes and instrumentations!! Very creative lyrics!!

I enjoyed listening to this tune, well made and very interesting arrangement, just great musicianship, and love the jazzy subtleties. I can hear no problems in the mix, vocals are stylish and clear, particularly enjoyed listening to the guitar. Overall, well produced song suitable for a variety of media.

Real nice overall feel to the song. Nice original piece. Nice bluesy vocal and jazzy music. holds one's attention.

I like the melody- and you have a smoothe voice---nice song
