My current free download is "EVERY NOW AND ZEN". Written and recorded in Pompano Beach, FL in 2016, this is the 2020 remix/remaster. You can follow along with the lyrics - one of my newer personal faves. Mastering courtesy of LANDR
I am currently on hiatus from performing and am doing some remixing and remastering [I have to plug LANDR again -love them!]
I write {and record} all genres of music, and I am currently writing my 2nd Horror Rock Opera/Musical Novel entitled "LILITH" {the 1st one being called "GARGOYLE"}. I had a piece from "LILITH" used in the film 'IF TOMORROW COMES', through TAXI. I also won a Billboard Songwriter Award in 1990 in the Pop/Rock category for the song "LAMIA", which was the inspiration to write "LILITH". I perform all of my own tracks on my songs, which are recorded in my Home Studio.

JOE KOZAK - Performer/Songwriter
Joe Kozak has been writing and performing music for over 25 years, mostly in the PA/NJ/DE tri-state area. A self taught musician, his early influences include Led Zepplin, Bob Seger, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and Queen, to name a few. Throughout his career, he has performed various styles of music including rock, soft rock, pop, blues, country, and zydeco.
After years of performing in bands, he is currently playing acoustic shows for enthusiastic fans. Performance is a passion for him. "There is something in my blood that keeps me playing", he says, "And music is my fountain of youth".
When not performing, Joe is writing and recording in his home studio. He writes various styles of music and performs and composes all of his own tracks, along with engineering and producing his own music. He has won a certificate of achievement from the Billboard Songwriting Contest and has had a couple of licensing agreements with his original music. Over the years, his music has also been played on Philadelphia area 'local artist' radio shows. He has also performed live on a few of them.
More of a 'recording musician' than a 'musical engineer', he enjoys taking a concept from its mental conception to a tangible audio presentation for others to hear, thus effectively 'painting pictures with sound'.
Reliable and professional, Joe takes his work seriously, but still delivers an element of fun when performing. "I believe that you are only as good as your last show" he says, "So I always strive to do my best". With a good variety of music for all age groups and venues, Joe Kozak brings a little something special to all events and shows.
