Dark, aggressive and moody, Sixty Miles Down has consistently been compared to the likes of Alice in Chains, Godsmack, and Corrosion Of Conformity, but their sound has a style all its own.

Sixty Miles Down just released a new single in August 2018 called I Can't Complain. It's our first new official release in 10 years! The feedback we have been getting on our facebook page has been amazing so far. Looking forward to getting some feedback on this site. The band is writing a bunch of new songs and really looking forward to hitting the stage again soon. I haven't been on this site in a while. Now that I'm back I will be updating the page over the upcoming weeks.
Sixty Miles Down
Hard-hitting and heavy, yet melodic and memorable, New Jersey's own SIXTY MILES DOWN grinds out gritty anthems pulled from the darker side of the soul. After years of evolution, singer/songwriter John Mosco, has been building on the buzz of acclaimed releases, 'Sink or Swim' (2002) and 'A New Skin' (2006). Many cuts have become staples in the extreme sports series, Thunderstruck, and have enjoyed lengthy stays in the top ten 'tall grass' of dotcoms such as broadjam, ourstage, songvault and indie-music. Title track, 'A New Skin,' raised the eyebrows of IAIRA as they declared it an international top ten song for attaining the number 2 position on indie-music.com. And despite all this, Mosco will tell you the biggest accomplishment so far has been the arduous task of "surviving the test of time." Throwing out the mold, these east coast rockers will follow no formula and play tag along with no trend as they plan for a new release in 2019. In a world full of disposable music, SIXTY MILES DOWN is building its soundtrack to last. Find them now at most major download sites including amazon, iTunes and CDBaby.
