My name is George Michael John Selsky and this is my second time around on Broadjam. The first time was with a project called The Spiders and I was able to discover many really talented people here. I was also very lucky enough to work with some of them. After The Spiders project ended I took a break then started writing and recording again. Some of the music here is new and some are things that have been floating around in my head for a long time. All comments, criticism and suggestions anyone might have are welcome and much appreciated!

Black Cherry Soda: especially from 2:02-on, has a great emotional punch, George. Do you ever consider top-lining? This is ready built for lyrics/melody line.

Hey Peter,
Thanks for the kinds words! By top-lining do you mean co-writing? If that's what you mean then yes. I've done that with a couple of BJ members and am always open to working with other folks.

Hi George -
Yes, top-lining as in adding lyrics and melody. I've done this with a collaborator here on BJ (Chicago Bob) and like to pitch the lyric/melody idea before asking for a co-write commitment (with a split sheet).
No harm, no foul if you don't like the idea.
I'd be interested in hearing how that has worked out in the past for you, and maybe hearing an example?
I'm writing for both sync placements, (I'm in four libraries), and also artist pitches. I'm heavily involved with the SongTown crowd and am getting an ongoing opportunity there to pitch to artists.
My email: pboynton@madriver.com. Using the BJ platform to communicate can get clunky!

Hey Peter,
Sounds good! I'll send a MP3 of the last thing I did with A BJ member to your email address.

Hi George -
I've been head-down completing co-write projects for bait now. I'm circling back to think about proposing some toppling co-writes. Did you send me the MP3 you mention above? I don't think I got it. My email again is pboynton@madriver.com. Also, I think there was a song of yours, 'New Girl On The Block' on the site. I mentioned it in a comment below. Is it still on here on BJ? Hope you're well! - Peter

oy...the auto-correct on my Mac is so disturbing...(grin) excuse the weird words above: ...for a BIT now...top-line.....

Hey Peter,
I did send that email and you responded. You said you had gotten snowed in and we're taking a break. The new girl on the block tune is called Valarie second tune on my page. I'm out of town but I can resend that email next week.
Best,
George

Hi George -
TNX - I thought you had sent the co-write MP3, but then couldn't locate it in my Mail program.
Thanks for re-sending when you get back.
OK, the new girl = 'Valarie" - Got it!
Sorry to seem so disorganized. Not my norm...
I'm in London next week, and will re-connect when I get back. I'm putting a check-in with you on my calendar. Do send the MP3 again by email so I have yours. I can never keep track of 'Comments' here on BJ.
