Tyler began his musical journey at the age of 17 where he discovered his passion for piano. Inspired by his friend who was a worship leader at church, he sought after a teacher to help him bring his passion to life. With the help of a good friend, Joel Pollard, he was able to begin the process of learning an instrument and making his passion a reality. As Tyler began to grow musically, he met new talented and hungry musicians. Through this new outlet, he then had an itch to start writing songs and singing. At the age of 22, an opportunity to become a music director at a start up church in Portland presented itself which led to more training and networking. Two years later, he decided to move to L.A where he joined the Hollywood Pop Academy, which later would prove to be a great networking tool. As he progressed, he would then have the opportunity to play for Tevin Campbell, Shai, and currently Midnight Star.
