Story Behind The Song
Lead singer in a former band i was in is anow a recovering alcoholic but at the tme was constantly drunk. He had been a great singer and front man but became almost an embarassment. Sometimes he didnt even know who we were. This was my wish that he woudl recover and get back to being a star again. I am happy to say he has been sober for 9 months now :)
Song Description
Once a superstar in people's eyes, the subject is at the bottom of the spiral caused by over indulgence in booze/drugs whatever. the song compares him to other "mortals" or non superstars, and wishes that he can kick his demons and get back on track again
