Story Behind The Song

Thinking of getting and old band back together......didn't work

Song Length 3:42 Genre Pop - General

Lyrics

Many times around I think I know what I done, but I simply do not know. I see myself with the matter in hand or caught up in the clutches of an undertow.
Till I see that it's not just me and furthermore it is certainly not me at all.
It's the plural possessive including the rest of us letting the chips lay where they fall.

Many rhymes abound I think I know how to write but I simply do not know.
I see myself with the power of pen, the power of zen, indescribable reaching
Till I see that it's you, me, and Brilmayers magical digital mixing. The plural passive ancient and festive, letting the chips lay where they fall.

A very laidback rhythm with an interesting melody. The intro seemed to waver a bit, but picked up with nice guitar riffs and a great staccato drums. The lyrics mirror the song itself. At times they are a bit confusing and the artist seems as if he's lost. This may have been done deliberately to - as the song says - "let the chips lay where they fall" so it may not be a bad thing.

The lyrics are pretty good

I like the guitar phaser. Nice groove.

good melody, very good lyrics, excellently set. great hook!
