initial riff recalling genesis style, then david bowie emerges.

Very unique. It sounds like The Residents meets David Bowie. This kind of originality is unheard of these days. The bass line really drives the song, and that "I wonder..." part is like Elmo escaped Sesame Street to lend his voice to your song! hah!

I found this song very refreshing in its approach. This is an act that is not trying to ride current musical trends, and I salute them for that.
Loved the quirky keyboard eighth-notes in the background; as they gave the track a bit of a Carnival or Circus feel. The vocals have a great, throaty quality that reminds me of Macy Gray in the good way.
