Story Behind The Song
This song is dedicated to the memory of Greg Buckley.
It is inspired by a poem written by Dennis Whilholte YOU ARE ENERGY.
Song Description
The theme is the transitory nature of life. It is a heartfelt testament to all of the artists admired by Greg, myself, and the rest of you progers (you know who you are) in those early formative years. we did our best to emulate what we could understand of what they were doing, learning through imitation. Gregs' keyboard parts were played by him, through me, and thats all I'm going to say about that. The song and the tracking came surprisingly fast and easy. The mix took forever. I ended up with over 50 tracks, many being in stereo. I maxed out my dedicated Mac mini. Whew!
