Charming little piece (or fragment?). Liked the elusive, unexpected quality of the rhythms, depending more on phrasing than beat. Starting with the piano is also a bit unusual (I like anything unusual!), leaves us guessing whether this is a 'concerto' or something else. Skilled string writing, in fact a beautiful, original composition . . .
Like this song, piano and strings have their own melody and fit both well enough. Never decays the song. good work.
I liked this composition a LOT and listened to it several times! The piano part provides a wonderful steadiness/grounding, while the strings are delightfully more syncopated and reflective. The effect is one of intimacy, playfulness and love. The chord progression has a softness yet definitiveness about it. Absolutely beautiful piece!
Overall I like the piece quite a lot. If someone spent some time on the string arrangement and you used a lot more realistic piano I think this piece would stand up and sing

The first thing I thought of when I first started hearing this beautiful instrumental, was "Welcome Home" - with the enticing pianist playing. And then came the beautiful string section and my heart just sank. My heart is still enticed with a light violin playing, welcoming me, as I continue to listen to this poignant classical orchestration that tugs at the heart.
Soft and subtle music like this really helps me to calm down after a stressful day. The music is simple, but in a good way that is not too complex and does what it sets out to do. I really do like the sounds of the instruments as they work together in harmony -- the sounds themselves really add depth to the feeling of peace. Truly a calm and relaxing track, and I enjoyed listening to it very much.

The recording is clear enough. The piano part is good throughout. I went back and listened several times to pick out the piano in the last half of the piece.
This reminds me a bit of a direction Brian McKnight might go with one of his offerings...

Dont really get this piece. Sounds a bit too improvised. The low shelf is too high and the sounds are very keyboardy.
