Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song from the perspective of a friend I knew. She came from a broken home, her father was a drunk, her mother did drugs, and she suffered very much in the way of abuse. This is a song for all those who come from a similar background, your pain and frustration are heard, you are loved, and you matter. Never give up, never give out. Your home can be wherever your heart is.
