Story Behind The Song

I wrote the song as a narrative about how love changes people and how we experience love in our lives. The emotional love of a child toward a parent or a parent toward a child is much different from the the love of one adult to another. We still call the emotion by the same name but the feelings are totally different from one another.

Song Description

The song is a description of the way people's perception of what love is changes as they grow older and experience different relationships. It starts with the trusting and innocent love of a newborn growing through childhood, continues as an adolescent into adulthood and finishes with the realization that love is always different and always changing.
