Story Behind The Song
Our Vocalist Garth was messing around with the main riff for this song. It was during a time when he had multiple opportunities to go further with his music. He was pretty content with where he was but knew that if he did not strike while the iron was hot that he would miss out. He quit the band he was in and formed a new band starting over in some ways but moving farther ahead with his dream. He used the metaphor " Tidal Wave" to describe the opportunity. He explains in the song lyrics that everyone has a multiple Tidal Waves that present themselves in life, you just have to be willing to get on and ride it.
Song Description
This song starts off with a bang! Heavy groovy guitar driven riff with a beat that pummels. Vocals counter the heavyness with melodic , catchy swaying melodies.
Chorus is huge with blended harmonies over strong driving music.

Tidal Wave - Lyrics
My sail is out, with no wind
how can i reach the peaceful shores
there was never any doubt
there was never any doubt in my mind.
there was never any doubt
that I would live forever
I look across the street
100 000 ways to take you
down a notch
I live in tragedy
100 000 waves to take you
down a notch
My sail is out, with no luck
how can I reach the life I hoped for
there was never any doubt
there was never any doubt in my mind
there was never any
that i would die for nothing
Hands across the seas
staring at the ceiling
wait for your tidal wave
wait for your tidal wave
hands across the seas
having trouble breathing
wait for your tidal wave
My sail is out..
