Story Behind The Song
It all started with a plate of French Fries. Kathy asked Bill, "Can I Have One?" "Sure," said Bill. "Take all you want." "I think we have a song title," said DeAnna. A couple of weeks later the four of us met at Kathy's and hammered out the song.
Song Description
A man and woman meet for their first date and fall in love at first sight. She asks him for a bite of his ice cream and he offers his heart and soul. A few years later, they have a baby girl who becomes the recipient of all of their devotion. In the end, as their young daughter drives off to start a life of her own, the woman is now free to offer her heart and soul to the man she fell in love with years before.
