Story Behind The Song

This melody came to me in 1981 along with a few lyrical lines. I never really thought it had any commercial appeal or potential, so I never pursued finishing it as a song. However, that melody was always stuck somewhere in the back of my mind and resurfaced when I became aware of the need for new lullabies. I hope it will find a niche or a use somewhere in this world.
