Story Behind The Song

Turlough Carolan, ( 1670 - March 25, 1738) was a blind, itinerant Irish harper, composer and singer whose great fame is due to his gift for melodic composition. He was one the great Irish harpers.

Song Description

Carolan's first song. Said to be about a war between two fairy kingdoms, Si Bheag and Si Mohr. The Song, like many Celtic songs, is connected to the land. One of our favorites. Listen to the flute and hammer dulcimer and gothic harp. Fabulous!!
