Lyrics
There was a man with a flower in his hand, there was a man with a flower in his hand...
He was standing at the grave of a girl he couldn't save...and his tears were running down upon the land...
I saw a girl weeping steady for her Mom, i saw a girl weeping steady for her Mom...
She was crying like the rain, i can still feel her pain...and her tears are like an ocean in my heart...
I wiped the tears from a little girl's eyes, i wiped the tears away from my little girl's eyes...
And i said, " Mom ain't coming home, it's just me and you alone...and we'll miss her everyday until we're gone...
I wish i could travel back in time, yeah i wish that i could travel back in time...
I'd get there just in time to take her hand in mine...and bring her safely back to you and me...
But i'm standing with a flower in my hand, yeah i'm standing with a flower in my hand...
And my tears are streaming down upon the petals of the rose i'm gonna rest against this cold, cold stone...
