Story Behind The Song
My reaction to the pain the corona virus has caused people..the loneliness, the deaths, the illnesses and how we will overcome this together.
I was affected by a photo I saw of an elderly man this past fall in a hospital johnny being hugged by a doctor with all the protective covid gear on. It cast the feeling of fear, sadness, sickness alone-ness and I just had to write something about covid to hopefully help people. I wrote it all with piano and then asked a wonderful electric guitarist/songwriter to come on board. We pulled it off; I living in Vermont and my co-writer/guitarist living in Utah. Recorded in our home studios. Now I am trying to get it out there to the people.
Song Description
Being caught by surprise by the sneaky corona virus and what we can do to over come it; we as the citizens of our world.
It is our song for all people! Perseverance and strength in regards to the evil virus! We shall overcome!
