your welcome MANIS!--nj
Hi Mannis, thank you for your review of 'Graduation Day', it is very much appreciated
Mannis, thanks for the review of " The Girl Who Saved Me ". Wrote it for my wife, many years ago. Congrats on your successes, more to come, I'm sure. Bill
Ms. Brooks is real sleeper! What a sweet tune; it sounds like a classic Cat Stevens tune.
gorgeous melody full of love
great track
Thanks Mannis for the review of Funky Morning Coffee! This one just kind of evolved on its own. Ended up being a conversation between the guitar and quinto drum kind of like a Cuban Rumba where the quinto interacts with the singer. The song was created with background track as it's eventual purpose so we intentionally kept it low-key and not too disruptive in order to be useful for programmers. Good luck on your projects and congrats! BSM
thanks for reviewing 'i want everything'..that was our first home studio production. i did use sax on a song 'rather be alone'...cool photo! kenm write on/rock on!
Thanks for the review! Appreciate it.
Little somethin I made for you.. not official because I probably wont get rights for the vocal, but sounds awesome, and was an awesome idea! http://soundcloud.com/courageous-squares/tuba-baby 1
would love to get the chorus to uhn tiss too!
Thanks for the review! I agree with your ideas.
Hey! Thanks for another great review!
Hey, Lee! I just listened to "G-d is Calling". I just wanted to tell you I really like the gospel style vocals with the rich latin orchestration. Seriously.
Thanks Mannis. We released the CD back in February of last year.
Hey, Lee! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the comment. I love Bloodhound Gang and I would love to remix uhntiss with parts of transient. Thanks for the idea! I hope you dig the song tho I recorded everything mixed and mastered it all myself.
Bill! Thanks for taking the time to consider my song "Floyd". You gave me some great suggestions. I listened to a couple of your tunes and really enjoyed them. Thanks again.
Hey, Eric! Thanks for the review of my song "I Can Feel Your Heart". I took a listen to your tune called "Transient". Great structure. I have to ask if you've ever hear a band called, "The Bloodhound Gang" and their song entitled, "Un Tiss, Un Tiss, Un Tiss"? If you get a chance let me know what you think as it relates to "Transient". Thanks again!
Hey, Mannis! Thanks so much for you kind and constructive thoughts on my song Starcrossed Heartbeat! You noted "cool concept" so I thought I'd share with you that it is purely autobiographical - one of those tmi songs haha! You mentioned the drum rolls - did you think that they were oddly placed? Btw I checked out some of your tunes here. Very cool, inspiring stuff! Is that your vocal on Baby Wear Your Black Boots? Gritty and awesome!
Hello there, Mannis. Just listened to Hello Miss Brooks. This is a very finely crafted folk/children's song and I absolutely loved it. There's nothing like a good, heartfelt song of appreciation for someone who has made a difference in your life. Not only did you do that, but you also told a story of your childhood and a great relationship, then ended the song with your own son. Excellent lyric writing! Sounds like a home recording. I thought the lead guitar was hot, but way too long instrumental section. That's my 2 cents. Nashville Joe is a good friend of mine; he even came to a couple of my gigs when I was down in SW FL. Glad he suggested I listen to your song. Your songwriting friend, Mrs. Kate www.MrsKate.com
Mannis..just reviewed ''Paparazzi'' - good stuff! Listened to ''things I should Have Said'' if that's you playing the sax, that is some very cool playing, great tone too Congrats Earl
Hey, Earl! I just found your comment from 2 weeks ago. I don' t know how I overlooked it especially since it contained such praise. Yes, that is me playing my sax. Thank you so much for the kind words.
Hello! Nashville Joe suggested that I introduce myself and ask that you listen to my song, "Hello, Ms. Brooks". I am new to Broadjam so I am happy to follow NJ's guidance, and extremely honored that he would suggest our introduction. Thank you. I welcome your feedback.
well I just came back from being interviewed on the local ABC Radio station, about my song A Girl and Her Soldier, AND they gave it airplay!! it was the most unreal thing ever, but only the beginning for this little lass!! As soon as I receive a copy I will post it, and you can all hear what I sound like not singing!!
Congrats Terese!! Well done!
Awesome, Congrats!!
Fantastic Terese! Way to go!!
well done Terese...
OUtstanding! Congratulations!
Congrats! An interview can be really nerfwrecking, but wait untill you'll be asked to perform it live on the radio!
Thanks all! i'll have to work my way up to performing I think, songwriting is another thing all together! haha!
Hi Mannis, I saw your comment to Nashville Joe and had a listen to Hello Ms Brooks, lovely song and fantastic guitar work in the instrumental. Hope to stay connected on BJ :-)
Terese, thank you very much. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been blown away by the kindness and support that comes along with being a friend of Nashville Joe. I had intended to remain connected to NJ anyway, so the warmth and friendship coming in from others connected to him is icing on the cake. Either way, thank you again so very much, and please consider me a new friend in the Pacific Northwest.
hello mannis--i read your bio-quite intersting--i am kinda like you in a lot of ways,i will not let anyone box me into one genre of music--i am country all right--but,much more than that--check out my song /no guts-no glory/sometime--listen to the words--forget about the music part so much--this a statement from me pretty much--ha ha--i never will retire, because i love what i do so much--cheers--NJ.

NJ, if I may, The review you gave me for "Hello, Ms. Brooks" was so very kind and inspirational. Thank you very much. But, enough about me - one only has to listen to your masterpiece Christmas Blues to know that genius is alive and well and living inside your mind, Sir. Thank you again, and please consider me a new friend in the Pacific Northwest.
you are most welcome mr.mannis--i remember having some teachers like that and i never got to thank them, but i remember how they helped me--and your song touched my heart--thanxs--joe.

Thanks for a really good, honest and fair review, Bobby. I see we both live in Lake Oswego. I'd be happy to spring for lunch sometime if you ever many to get together. Thanks again. Mannis
Thanks for the review of "little child". It was recorded about 5 years ago and we have hopefully improved since then. Try listening to "The Little Road To Bethlehem". I think you will hear a big improvement.
Hi Mannis thanks for the helpful review of "Claims Adjustin Man" !! Someday is a fully mature cult song. This is impressive and unsettling.
Thank you for the very kind words.
