Eric & Ray, Thanks for reviewing "Fun Outside". Actually there isn't any real defined melody. It was just a quick jam on a chord progression I stumbled upon. Congrats on your Top Tens... well deserved. Bill
Wow! There are 17 songs in Top Ten lists. Thanks for listening, everyone.
Thanks for reviewing JUST LOVE BEING IN LOVE . Sorry it wasn't to your taste , but at least you were honest . On the bright side , it's recently been selected by a publisher.
Thanks for your review of FRAGILE . I never know which genre to put my songs under !
Gentlemen, Thanks for reviewing "Life With Blurred Vision". As for the piano sounds, it was what I had to work with at the time some 20 years ago. The technology has improved a bit since then. Bill
Hi Eric and Ray--Thanks for your review of "Head in the Clouds". I appreciate it! I agree about the eq issue at 1:37, now to figure out how I can edit it.
Hey, guys! I appreciate the review of my little play on words, "Another Day Younger With You". You always have excellent commentary.
Hey Eric and Ray. Thank for your review of my song Pure Love. Could really use real players to make it really work. Feel free to bring it to life :) Sending good thoughts your way. kj
Sounds great!
Hello Eric and Ray, thank you for your kind review regarding my song Riders Of Temptation. Lindsay
It's me again gents! Thanks for your review of At Christmas Time and I take your point about the main vocal reverb. Glad you enjoyed it. Bob
Just had a listen to a couple of your songs, some special quality there! Jazz is not really my bag but I do recognise top notch instrumentation and production when I hear it. Mighty impressed gentlemen. Bob
Hi Guys, Thank you for a great review of Rockin' On A Saturday Night (sometimes wish I had shorter song titles!), I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my older songs and that makes it especially interesting that no one in about twenty reviews has commented on the drum "prelude" you highlighted. It's a fair point now that I've listened again! TBH I have no idea now why I put those few beats in, possibly because I thought listeners might think the whole song was going to be without percussion and might have switched off? I'm much obliged for your review. Happy New Year. Bob
I appreciate the excellent review of What About My Reward (originally written in 1972 but only recorded in 2015). You heard the full-length version but there is also a Radio Edit as requested!
Thanks for reviewing I've Got My Telephone, guys! Actually that IS a real drummer. The backwards wah guitar was trying to capture a Steely Dan-type sound.
Hi Eric & Ray. Thank you so much for your review of 'The Sea' and for your constructive comments. Glad you enjoyed the song! David.
Hi Diane, glad you really really really really enjoyed our version of this song. ;-) This one was a challenge, but really fun.
LOL - you're welcome, just couldn't help all those superlatives. :)
Hi Eric and Ray--Thanks for the favorable review of "I See You (in my dreams)". I appreciate it! I like your constructive observation on the strings and it has me thinking about tweaking them a bit. Good suggestion!
Hi Eric. Thanks for the review of armadillo. Obviously a true story. Mrs Kate
Fred, thanks for the review of our song. Glad you liked it.
Great song - love the guitar sound
Thanks for the review of "Polka Dot blue". Bill
Hey there Eric Montgomery & Ray Legnini, Listening to "Late Night Edition", are the instruments in this composition....say like the Piano are those samples?? Man, they sure sound like real deal musicians playing live!! Listened to several of your tunes and you people are Hot,Hot,Hot!! 5 Stars on all the tunes I listened to!! Great Job!!! Love to connect with you people thru Broad Jam! We have composed some Jazz/Pop tunes! We had Jerry Peterson (Sax) from Billy Vera & The Beaters playing on many of our songs, before he passed away from Covid!! Toodles & Stay Safe..... The Corey's.............
Really nice!!
Hi Sam! Good to see you here.
It's a pleasant surprise to bump into you guys! And man, you're making some great music! I am actually in the midst of producing a documentary on Ensoniq, so we'll need to chat about that...
Thanks for the nice review of our version of You're All I Need to Get By. Yes, it's a cover of an R&B hit. Marvin Gaye - https://youtu.be/Dza91W2DLWE Aretha - https://youtu.be/Jx7M3g-9JEY
Welcome to Broadjam! You'll have a lot of fun on here! Catnip
Hey thanks for the review on Street Smoka! Never thought of it as an electronic track. Preciate it!!!
Hi, thanks for the review of our song One Voice. Glad you like the bass player, too!
Not at all! I really love your material. Sounds amazing!
Hi Eric and Ray, Thanks for the good review of my song Stell dir ... . The song is simple, but apparently simplicity is sometimes a virtue. At the same time, I thank for reviewing my other simple song Das Spielchen ... . I forgot earlier to thank you for it. Regards TeflonByte
I was looking around trying to buy "Sunrise" and can't find an Eric & Ray album anywhere - does it exist? Is there a purchase link on another site?
We are working on getting the music onto the streaming services now.
I've got mine up on all the freebies (BandCamp, ReverbNation, etc). My big money-makers so far have been Pond5 free version and AudioSparx where I'm making $45-60 quarterly (also free). Your stuff is good enough you should submit to CrucialMusic.com (also free!) who are EXTREMELY picky and rarely accept material, but they're big-time. I finally got one song accepted, and they used it on a prime-time Fox TV show (Call Me Kat, Feb. 2021). It's a 50/50 split, but Fox paid $1,000 to use the song for 4 seconds on the show! You can only submit 3 songs at a time and they take a few months to get back to you, but all it takes is one "hit" and you're rolling.
Bob, thanks. That's great info. We are certainly interested in doing anything we can to help each other. If there's anything we can be helpful with, just let us know.
