Lisa Horan is a singer/songwriter whose focus is writing for film, TV, and advertisements. "Spin This World the Other Way", a song Lisa co-wrote, won 1st Place in the Hip Hop/Rap category of the Great American Song Contest! Lisa's song "Parachute" was also selected as a Finalist in the Adult Contemporary category. "Better for the Worst" and "Still Beautiful" were featured in a Haxan Films/Amber Entertainment film.

"To me, the songs that are the most powerful and memorable are the ones that don't just tell a story but also etch themselves in my soul," says Lisa. "That's why one of my goals is to write music that reaches people on an emotional level."
Her most recent songs, including "Broken," "The Valley", "You Are Just", and "Parachute" certainly fall into this category and are receiving praise. "You Are Just", for instance, has been in Broadjam's Pop-Easy Listening Top 10, the Mid-Atlantic Top 10, and the Maryland Top 10, as has "The Valley", and "Parachute" was a recent finalist in the Great American Song Contest.
Additional accomplishments include a Gold Award in the Adult Contemporary Category and Second Place Overall Award for "Better for the Worst" in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. The song is also featured in a Haxan Films/Amber Entertainment Film, along with another of her songs, "Still Beautiful", which she co-wrote with Writer/Multi-Insrumentalist Jason Hoffheins. In addition, her song "Spin This World the Other Way", which she co-wrote with Producer/Arranger Stephen Joseph Antonelli, was a First Place winner in the Great American Song Contest.
