HAWC, despite his dramatic attempt to look intimidatingly swagalicious, he sincerely is a kind hearted modest guy who simply loves to express himself through the arts, primarily music. Some have described him as the musical SUPERMAN, a one-man band, with strong spiritual convictions. The name HAWC is representation of those spiritual convictions while giving patronage to his biological father, Griffin representing his mother's family honoring his maternal grandfather. With years of experience as a musician-composer, director, writer, worship leader, and vocalist; the artistic expressions of HAWC have crossed borders beyond the U.S. HAWC fused his efforts with a revolving member band to help deliver the live experience of the sound he produces called "HAWC & the F.E.W". Which evolved into what is now FEWXION, which allows him to still navigate his own music expression outside of his regular routine with major MidWest cover-band, LDNL (Lt. Dan's New Legs). Stay tuned...

HAWC

Originated in 1992, H.A.W.C. was initially the name of a Contemporary Gospel trio. The Acronym stood for the Holy-Ghost Activated Warriors for Christ. By '95 the trio faded, but the name remained as the identity of it's founder. While the name Hawc was an acronym representing spiritual convictions, it was also an effort to show patronage to his biological father. Decades later Hawc decided to add a last name to represent the other half of his family, also bettering precise marketing strategies. Bringing 30+ yrs of experience in the music & entertainment industry, some have described him as the artistic interpretation of the well known Comic book Kryptonian. Hawc Griffin has developed his artistic expression over the last couple decades as a music director, song writer, producer, worship leader opening several opportunities to share his talents internationally. He's also had the opportunity to perform and work with several Top Industry Music Award winners.

HAWC's recordings release an energy extremely rare. in 2001 he released recordings of his own original ballads from an unorthodox Christian point of view called "Ring Finger". Later he released a few Jazz instrumentals on a project called "Audible Art", before releasing his 2007 a collection of edgy praise & worship originals with the album title BATTLE CRY vol. 1 "Loud & Clear". Since then he continues to make various singles available on his social media platforms such as soundcloud, broadjam, facebook, or youtube, that include vendor themed songs and some singles inspired by relationship experiences along the way. After managing his own solo efforts, as well as his own band "HAWC & the FEW" that later became "FEWXION"...he happily took on his current role with LDNL. Hawc seems to have an ability to deliver as a one-man band, or a great asset and team player in almost any group, but also a total package production machine from start to finish including art design for various media LIVE or STUDIO applications . While this may be an extensive resume...he still feels he's at the beginning of his career in the music industry. Stay tuned as he aims to deliver more than already presented.

Dear HAWC, you just reviewed our song,"Dancing Naughty Tonight". Your review was spot-on! We saw this old guy at a Beach Cafe a Local Hang-out and this guy was 99 years old and he was strutting his stuff! We thought it looked so cool, that this senior citizen is still relevant!! So, from that....we wrote the lyrics to the tune! The song was originally composed as an instrumental ten years earlier and we turned it into a SONG! It's meant to be a tribute song to older individuals, keep on Dancing, no matter how old you are!!!
WE are seniors ourselves! Oh and that vocal near the end, that you thought should be a real voice, is me thru some App I had just purchased. I thought it sounded kind of Black sounding!! We love old Black Music, R&B and Soul! Not too keen on the Hip Hop & Rap, but understand the importance of protest of the lyrics and these times!!
Glad that the tune kept your interest and made you chuckle!! I believe we succeeded in our attempts.........

Toodles.......& Stay Safe Sir!!!

If you have time, would love to hear back from you!! Your picture on Broad Jam looks pretty COOL!!
Oh, the Sax player (Jerry Peterson) on our composition, just passed away from Covid about three weeks ago! He will be sadly missed. He was the sax player for the L.A. group........Billy Vera & The Beaters!!

Oh wow, I'm sorry to hwar about the loss of Jerry! I listened to a few tracks with the sax and it reminded me a bit of a close friend who plays sax with me from time to time who os in his 70's. I enjoy a lot of your music. Im sorry I didn't score higher, I realozed I forgot to go back and score each category because I jumped right into commenting since I was so anxious to speak about the song. I really enjoyed it! I love stuff like that! Anxious to hear more!

Hey thanks for the review of my instrumental version of my tune What ya gonna do? You were right - all done on one synth - I have very little kit sadly! I'm first and foremost a bass player but learnt keys as a youngster and now play by ear. Thanks for your take! Good Luck to you!

This is even MORE awesome if your primary instrument is bass, but you churned out this lil' gem! I'm even more impressed, sir! LOVE IT!
