Thank you for the Five Stars# Your Music Deserves the same# Five Star Composer Your Music is refreshing Thank you!!! Blessings
Hi again Jeana... Sebastian's Theme... so emotional and moving. A seemingly bittersweet story of positivity, hope, and sorrow... such is life sometimes. I erspecially liked your poroduction choices too. The darker/muted piano really helped soften the voice of the solo piano. Another very well conceived and executed piece! 5 stars and likes from me!
Hi Frank-- Sorry I missed this earlier. I had a backlog of emails and ran across your comment. Thanks for listening and the stars for Sebastian's Theme. I'm glad you liked the muted piano sound. I kind of stumbled upon it, now I think I'll use it more often. I appreciate the feedback!
Hi Jeana, I just listed to Frenzied. Wonderful piece! Well conceived and executed (as usual :) ). I really liked the thoughtful orchestration too... a great supporting "cast" for the well crafted melodies sung by the piano. Well done.
Hi Frank--Thanks for listening to "Frenzied" and the stars and kind words. I appreciate it! I listened to "Mom's Journey Home". Very beautiful, fitting the beautiful story it was inspired by.
Cherish (orchestral version) is a beautiful piece Jeana... love the orchestration; the string section is thoughtfully composed and well arranged! Nicely done! 5 stars and liked!
Hi Frank--Thank you for your kind words and ratings! Thierry Coupey did the orchestration for this piece (you may have heard some of his work on Broadjam). Orchestrations aren't really my thing, but I'll do them if needed. :-)
Great teamwork Jeana! :)
Margie/Cory, Good morning to you both! I just listened to "Slow Dance With Me"". Really love the silky smooth production and vibe of that tune. The vocal arrangement is retro yet "today"... very nice mix! It harkens back to soulful love songs of the past. Well done!
Frank, Glad you enjoyed our co-write, "Slow Dance With Me" with Jerry Peterson on Sax! Here is a Video of Jerry Playing with Billy Vera & The Beaters back in 1980's. They had a huge Hit back then and played on Johnny Carson's show 13 times back then!! Jerry plays the Solo Sax part and is the middle of the stage.... Enjoy!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzH QCL531oY Toodles.... The Corey's
Dear Frank, what an incredible story about Roz and Joe's wedding and the composition you composed for them, along with the video!! What a Great Job by you Sir !! You have done a tremendous job! Respectfully, The Corey's........... Hope we can connect, we have some tunes that might really move you!!
Thank you both so very much! I'm looking forward to listening to more of your songs/music. It would be great to explore collaborating opportunities onme day. Quite honestly, I haven't been able to devote any time to writing/record for a while, but I'm looking forward to making more time shortly. You are both extremely talented! Keep up the great work!!!
Frank, Thanks for listening and again your Roz & Joe song is quite incredible!! Be Safe & Wear a Mask!! The Corey's.............
Dear Frank LP, very original song Sir!! Extremely creative, really pushing the envelope with this theme & feel! Love the vocals from Megan Van Alstine! You have a Great tune here! 5 Stars & Likes.......Love to connect with you as Broad Jam Friends, we have some pretty interesting tunes that you might enjoy!! The Corey's, Margie & Art Corey.......
Thanks Margie/Art... I'm humbled/honored that you like that tune! Megan is great... I really liked working with her. Some of my favorites songs were ones she sang on. But of course, the one my Wife Jane sang CERTAINLY is my most favorite! I just took a brief taste of your tunes... WOW! You two are extremely talented!! Excellent writing, producing and performances! Major props to you both.
BTW... just in case you're interested, the song I'm refering to is "I Love You All The Darkness In The Night". The backstory is pretty special. And Jane was absolutely terrified to sing/record it (she prefers to write lyrics/poetry)... but she dug deep and really did a nice job.
Hi Frank--Thanks for listening to "Spiraling Out of Control" and the stars. I appreciate it! I will get back to your songs when I'm on my computer.
You're very welcome Jeana. I enjoy your music... you're talent is very impressive!
Hi Frank--"Don't Make Me Fall" is very beautiful! I like the unexpected change at 1:22. Great job!
Thanks Jeana. That change was my attempt to musically reflect the dramatic contrast of fear and fortitude that this person feels/expresses from experiencing serious disappointment and pain from previous relationships. Thanks for listening!!
Just learned this morning that "I Make A Difference" has entered the Pop - Rock Top 10 at #10! :)
Hi again Jeana, Don't know if I posted this in the wrong place originally... but I just listened to a couple more of your songs. "Give Thanks" is a really nice piece with a spiritual sound/vibe; great vocal performance as well! "Save Your Tears" was a moving subject; nice choice in production on this... I liked the doubling of the vocal in the bridge; added a nice dimension. As always, your piano work is spot on on both of these pieces. Kudos!!
Hi Frank--thanks for listening and the 5-stars for "Give Thanks" and "Save Your Tears". I appreciate your comments. "Save Your Tears" is one of the first songs I've written to lyrics as well as make up a background track (probably why there isn't much to it). I find it challenging to record a background track without vocals. :-) I listened to your "Medium Mystery" and "Take Me Back". 5-stars--I like the variety on your page and interesting background to each piece. Great job!
Thanks so much for listening/rating Jeana! I know what you mean about writing music without the lyrics... I've done it both ways (with and without the lyrics... and sometimes writing them simultaneously! :) ) and it can sure be an "adventure". If you're interested in listening to any of my songs that have vocals/lyrics, just look for the songs that a person's name parenthesized in the title. That person is the vocalist :).
Thanks Jeana for kind review and score of "Tell Me". I appreciate your time!
You're welcome, Steve. You always have quality pieces.

Hi Frank---thanks for listening to my Christmas music box tunes and the stars. I appreciate it! I listened to Speed Chase, Precious Cargo, and Electron Ika. All are great and perfect for commercials! Nice work.
Thanks so much for listening Jeana. Those three are indeed little/short ideas that I composed for commercial use/submissions.
Hi Jeana, I just listened to a few of your shorter works... Elf's Jig, Dancing Snowlflakes and Dreams of Toyland. I think all three are produced quite nicely (pairing the perfect instrumentation to the melody/theme)! Elf's Jig brought thought's of Irish themes to me while Dancing Snowflakes immediately took me to wintery holiday scenes. Dreams of Toyland seemed more delicate... akin to a lullaby. All well done and 5 stars!
Hi Frank--I just listened to a couple more of your tunes. "Father Time" is a fun, feel-good tune. "Linus to Lucy" is sweet and sounds like it would fit right into the Peanuts story. Nice work!
Thank you so much Jeana! As always, I really appreciate you listening and commenting. I'll be visiting your page again to listen to more of your work as well. Thanks again!
Hi again Jeana. I just listened to "Flutter" and "No Worries Today". Both are beautifully written and performed! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!
Hi Frank--Thanks again for the kind words, listening to my pieces, and ratings. I appreciate it! I will get back to your page soon to listen to more of your wonderful music!
Hi Jeanna, Thanks so much for listening to some of my stuff... appreciate the time and the ratings! I just watched and listened to your video/piece "Mysterious"(Tornado 5-5-19). Absolutely beautiful piece of music there! I really liked the juxtaposition to the storm footage; especially the transition at the ~50 second mark. I also liked the move to the clip of the raindrops ion the sidewalk. Nice work there! I look forward to listening to more of your work.
Hi Frank--Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and other song plays. Also the stars--I appreciate it! I'll be listening to more of your pieces in the future.
Hi Frank--Thanks for the 5-stars for Bright Skies Ahead. I appreciate it! I listened to your "Moods of Electra". Nice upbeat, cheerful sound. 5-stars.
Thanks so much Jeana. I appreciate you taking the time to listen. My stuff tends to reflect a lot of different styles/influences. If you so inclined I've posted are several really short pieces (just 1 or 2 minutes long) that you may like. Some of them are: Spring Time, Jazz & Scotch-Whiskey, Angela's Haunting, The One, Classical Cruise, and One Red Rose Interlude. I'll get back to your page to listen to more of your music... you're extremely talented!
Hi Frank--I already listened to "Angela's Haunting" last week and was very impressed by it. The title caught my eye and the recording captures the title. Very well done. I will listen to the others when I'm on my computer (instead of my phone).
Hi Frank--just listened to your songs you mentioned, plus a couple others. All 5-stars! You are quite talented and can compose a variety of styles! If you get a chance, I have a video on my broadjam profile page that features my piece "Mysterious"(Tornado 5-5-19). I took photos on my cell during the storm and set them in chronological order to my music.
p.s. The picture/video quality is best if viewed small and not full-screen
Thanks so much Jeana! I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment. I've been enjoying/admiring your work as well... you are very talented! Thanks again.
Thanks for the 5-stars for Moonlit Glow and Adrift. I appreciate it!
Thanks for the 5-stars on Moonlit Glow. I appreciate it!
Thanks for the stars and playlist add on "Bright Days Ahead" Jeana...Glad you liked it. Happy Spring coming up soon. It's snowing here today but Spring is somehow in the air! Hope all is well there :)
Thank you so much for listening, and the ratings Jeana! Your music is awesome and I'll be returning the favor on ratings!
Hi Sylvia, Thanks so much for review of my song "Smile Again". I really appreciate your comments. Your stuff sounds great! I just listened to a few of your tunes...really really nice stuff. Great production...hot vocals, nice!! Keep on creating!!!! Frank
I loved your song. It was my pleasure. Thanks for your nice comments. Good luck with all your music endeavors.
Hi Sharon, Thanks so much for your review of my song "I Finally Found You". Your comments were very nice to hear. I really like your song "You Know Me"...very nice arrangement and lyrics with a strong chorus/hook! Good stuff. Keep creating!! Frank
You're welcome Frank. Thank you for taking time to listen to my song. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the nice compliments. Have a great holiday. Sharon
Big thanks for your review please feel free to keep upto date with future drumschool releases via my broadjam profile page.
Hi Ken, Thanks so muchfor your review of "One Red Rose". I appreciate you tkaing the time to have a listen and comment. I just listened to your song "When You Touch Me". Very nice song, and very well done. Nice vocals, instrumetation and production. I really like the solo violin, and tasteful piano arrangement. Props! Frank
Hi Carl, Thanks for the review on my song "Keep on Walkin". Yeah...genres are hard to figure out when categorizing original/unique songs. I just listened to your song "Tough Love"...very cool piece! I really like the darkness to it and the lead vocal is a perfect fit. Strong chorus too. Well done. FrankLP
No prob Frank, really enjoyed it. Thanks for the shout and checking out my toon. Scott Mathews produced "Tough Love" (his vox on the chorus) and it was a nice collaboration. Keep the music coming and look forward to keeping in touch. Cheers!
hi there you wanna check out my tune? wanna jam with me? great...!!!
Hi Jim, Thanks for your review of "Can You See Me". You're right in that it would have been much cooler to have a real violinst on that track. Players and $$ to pay them are hard to come by sometimes here. :) I'm listening to your track "Be Yourself"...cool track. I really like the energy in the Chorus...is that a banjo in there?! Cool stuff...nice big room drum mix too. And the orchestra bells were a nice touch. Great job! FrankLP
Frank, thanks very much for your compliments on "Bee yourself". You may be interested to know that the vocals on the chorus are sung by Janet Murphy, a singer I "met" after I reviewed one of her songs, here on broadjam! She also sent my song to her son Ryan who lives on the west coast, who also recorded some vocals... strange the way connections are made. Check out her profile - tell her I recommended her. Also, if you are interested, please visit my new Facebook page, clicking "Like" to keep in touch. www.facebook.com/jimpearsonmusic All the best from Jim
Hi Fred, Thanks so much for the review of my song "Hamilton's Soft Shoe". You're right that that one is an old school joint...I wrote and recorded that one quite a while back. Recorded onto an old Fostex R8! It was a kind of tribute to the late, great Pat Hamilton; a great B3 player that finished his career doing a solo gig at a local steak house (Gorats). Kickin' out 30's big band stuff. Pat was smooth and a monster at doin' the solo thing. I'm listenin' to your tune "Into You". Great stuff! Love the sonic diversity and instensity to the track. Awesome job!! FrankLP
Hi again Chaz, Looks like you weren't to fond of my tune "Adam and the Ant". No worries, songs are like gifts under a Christmas tree...some of them just aren't the right ones for the recipient! I do understand your grade on the recording quality though. That mix is actually from quite a few years ago; with different equipment and using an old Fostex R8 reel-to-reel! But I must admit that I've always liked that one...just never re-recorded it. Take care. FrankLP
