Primarily a studio musician, Eva is currently editing and mixing her first CD of music. Her current CD project is a collection of jazz-influenced pop music directed at an adult audience. Inspired by her experience as a classically trained pianist and exposure to jazz music in her home, the songs range from the ??bluesy? See How She Cries, to the soulful All of Your Life to a more Adult Contemporary/Jazz based Too Little Time. You Are Here is a reflection of her classical background.

Study of classical piano began at age 6 and Eva graduated from USC with a degree in piano performance. She performed with R & B cover bands in the 90??s & was musical director and accompanist for several musical theater productions. Songwriting took the back burner until about 5 years ago when her focus shifted from performing to writing and recording. She writes both pop and inspirational music.

Please let me know you were here & sign my guestbook!

I'll make an announcement when it's up for sale.

About Eva Vazzana

With a varied musical background, Eva Vazzana brings an eclectic perspective to the music she writes and records. She studied classical piano beginning at age six, but as a teenager enjoyed and performed covers of pop music. She was also piano accompanist for several choral and musical theater productions. In high school, she began to branch out into jazz, learning techniques of improvisation and alternate chord structure.

During her time as a music/piano performance major at the University of Southern California, Eva continued with her classical training and her self-study of jazz and additionally performed Renaissance music with several performance groups, learning harpsichord, viola da gamba and recorder. She also sang in choir and a small vocal jazz group.

After graduation, she was approached to serve as musical director in several musical theater productions, providing both musical directorship as well as accompaniment. Additionally, she was music director and lead vocalist/musician at the church she attended.

During the 90's she joined an R & B/Pop cover band performing in clubs throughout Southern California as lead vocalist and playing synth until the time her daughter was born.

At that time, she focused more on developing her songwriting and music recording skills, working in a home studio. Now, primarily a studio musician, she is working toward completion of her self-produced first CD of songs and instrumentals.
