PERSONAL STATEMENT:
Music is my oldest friend, the one I could always count on to soothe my spirit and deliver guidance, especially during the hard times.

As a kid, I remember listening intently to the lyrics of great singer-songwriters like Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Jim Croce and Harry Chapin, and to bands like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors and The Beatles, feeling peace and calm.

As a young man, trying to find my way in the world, I gravitated toward personal-growth books, programs and seminars to help answer the question,"Why am I here?"

Thanks Julia. We are thrilled with how that one came out. It was inspired by reading Joseph Cambell and Steven Covey...and a story I heard about how most people spend their time climbing the ladder of life, only to discover their ladder is leaning against the wrong wall. "When You're Gone" is a response to that, and hopefully provides inspiration for people to follow their dreams. My favorite lyrics are in the bridge: "You still got a whole lot of livin'" -- as there is no greater truism than: IT's NEVER TOO LATE!"
