Lyrics
Edge of the Eve
Music and lyrics © Copyright 2005 Van Wampler
In the silence before the beginning of a storm to end all days
On the edge of the eve of the end of the world, I still see through the haze
See a light shining through the gray cover of clouds, the sunny sky overhead
And I know that no matter what happens to us, even though some are dead?
Nothing can take away our souls
Nothing can take away the human hope
On the edge of the eve of the end of the world, a storm to end all days
On the edge of the eve of the end of the world, I feel a force from far away
In the silence before the beginning of a storm I see a smile
On the edge of the eve of the end, when the world is in denial
I still can see a smile
Everyone can still manage a smile
Because
Nothing can take away our souls
Nothing can take away the human hope
On the edge of the eve of the end of the world, a storm to end all days
Edge of the eve
