Story Behind The Song
Haing been a percussion player in one of such evenings in Calcutta in the 70s, I was inspired to write this piece after the Katrina disaster,, hoping that someday I could sell this and other such tracks to donate all proceeds to the needy Children in America.

Tablas, Dholaks, Waterbottle-percussion and latin rythem driven, Farfisa, Flute, Horns and Accoustic Guitar leads paint the picture of a Festival of Fire (DIWALI) in India. Women and men dressed up in colorful clothings and headgears, dance on the streets at sundown, around thousands of lite-up oil-lamps, clebrating Life.
