Story Behind The Song
MgGee hears Fred singing as he drives up to the stairs of an old apartment
building. A drive by shooting launches the scene into a drive-by video shoot
with the band in the Gremlin through Watts, Boyle Heights & the Crenshaw district.
Fred defends himself in a shoot out with guitar licks as he ducks the gunfire.
It ends back at the apartment. Fred in trubadorial commentary. A typical "Cops"
scene. Ambulance, sirens, police radios, and a hysterical mother screaming
"My baby, my baby!"
Song Description
In search of The Holy Pail is to be produced as film style long form music video. The lyrics are
the script. "MgGee", the main character, is the thread that weaves the individual songs into a
soundtrack and screen play rolled into one.
