Wanted to create the most distorted rock guitar sound in history and make it into the Guinness Book World Records as the loudest most distorted recording in music history. We were in old Dan's basement and wore earplugs to prevent damage to our ears turned everything past ten on the volume knob in a small roomful of large Marshal Stacks and hit the record button. The sound meter was at 200. 150 is eardrum rupture. Our bodies were melting. Put this to tape in a psychedelic rock & roll phantasm trailer park punk rock trash style.
