I think everyone knows of a place we can call "Skeeter Lake". As a kid, we had a place called just that. Friends and myself would go there to catch bullfrogs, snakes, snapping turtles, and catfish. We would get eaten alive by "skeeters" in the process. We didn't care about that. We were just happy to be exploring our hidden lake with good friends.
