Story Behind The Song
Thank you for you thoughts on "Renfield's Dream" as that song is near and dear to my heart. Several years ago I had just purchased a new Key board, I set it up, plugged it in and wrote the song pretty much as it is, as though it were just there waiting for me. The lyrics came from a scene in the 1931 Bela Lugosi version of Dracula where the in mate of an insane asylum relates his account of the vampires visit.
