A short while after the school shooting, a man drove his car that was loaded with gasoline into an emergency room, attempting to harm people with fire in the crash. So what do we do? Ban cars and gasoline. No, once there is a ban on guns, only the govt and criminals will have guns. The rest is a bloody history such as the millions who were slaughtered in the former USSR, China, Germany, etc. I'm retired military who has served since 1979, and was in when these threats were well remembered. "Those who don't learn from history, are often doomed to repeat it" is a legitimate warning to societies that allow themselves to be disarmed, such as Venezuela.
