Story Behind The Song

This is a dark song about senseless violence and society's increasing ignorance. One of my relatives was a victim of a senseless home slaying. Even though she survived I wanted to bring this to people's attention. When I discussed the topic with PGO he told me about a story in the paper he read the same day where someone was laying in a lively New York street for an hour and a half dead until someone bothered to check on him.
