Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for Mae and asked her to marry me. She said yes! So before I gave my vows, at the wedding ceremony, I played this on my old acoustic guitar. She cried, the minister cried, but we all made it through...and 25 years later I dedicate it to her, but offer it as a classic love ballad for others falling in love and getting married.
