Story Behind The Song
This is the song that allowed me to tour with and be the opener for David Crosby on his 1998 tour. He said he was listening to the CD and pulled over when this song came on so he could just listen to it. He then decided I could come on tour with him.
Song Description
Sweet, quiet, spooky song about wanting to run away with someone you're missing. Very spacious verses with comfortable, more full choruses.

Lyrics
Maybe you should drive up here and get me,
though I'm not sure I'll make much sense.
Everything I've built is leaning
and they just raised the rent.
We could drive out to the desert.
You always make me feel like we're on film.
Sometimes my head just turns on me, and
you know that's a movie we were already in.
You know, that's a movie we were already in.
Tonight the dead are so dramatic,
they still want to be our friends.
I need you to feed me my lines again,
you know it's a movie we were already in.
You know it's a movie we were already in.
