The Master

You?ll find me in a bar,
Sitting by myself.
I don?t need anyone, for now.
The man across the room is
Playing a baby grand, and
I am lost in a hazy cross
Between truth and his command.
Oh don?t you see the music running from his hands,
Can?t you see it curling around?
Dancing with the smoke from the cigarettes,
Can?t you see it winding down?
Winding through your body to the floor.
The rhythm comes to me
In a vibrant wall.
I hear the master?s steady call.
He uses geniuses to
Get inside of your soul, oh,
The man who plays doesn?t know he obeys,
The master?s in control.
Oh don?t you see the music running from his hands,
Can?t you see it curling around?
Dancing with the smoke from the cigarettes,
Can?t you see it winding down?
Winding through your body to the floor....
PIANO SOLO
Should I feel jealousy
Before the chosen one,
Or should I pity him his path?
He plays like a puppet on the
Strings of a baby grand, and
I will stay ?til he goes away,
The master?s in command.
What is your master plan?
