Story Behind The Song
I was inspired to write this song following a trip to the mountains with my sister as an adult. It brought back a lot of childhood memories of Sunday afternoons spent in the mountains as a family. As adults we had gone through a difficult time in our relationship and that day I realised that we would be ok regardless; that the memories that connected us were far stronger than any conflict or situation we could find ourselves in. It also captures the sense that we are all a work in progress, always changing and entering new situations, we are eternally "finding our feet".

Lyrics
We go to the mountain,
Like we did as children,
When summer came in.
Hide and seek among the trees,
Father trying to teach us things
How to tell a flower from a weed.
Chorus
And we stayed beneath the trees
The leaves a canopy the light cant break
No different you and me
Wildflowers finding our feet
We go to the mountain
We're no longer children
But pilgrims in need of rest
With sandbags on our shoulders
we're fearful of the waters
Rising within
Chorus
Bridge
And we'll start as we mean to go on,
We'll be the people we long to become x2
