In this contemporary arrangement of the jazz standard "Perdido" I switch back and forth between straight ahead swing and a half time funk shuffle feel. This is definitely a must have for any good high school, college, or professional big band. I was honored to have Mr. Jamey Aebersold play on this piece as a featured guest artist with the Army Band.
