Lyrics

oh, the storm's coming
the thunder's rumbling
and the lightning will be here soon

oh the wind blows out a gale
hits us hard on the trail
and that thunder it grew, the storm's coming through

oh the storms coming
but for the running
we'd be soaked to the bone

oh, and the rain lashes down
as mud takes the ground
il find shelter with you, the storm's coming through

the rythm of my hard beats heavy to the sound
the forks light up and tear through the ground
the banks will burst the rivers in-bound
but we'll ride it out, batten down the hatches oh.

oh the storms coming
down the road we're scrambling
down the road we flew

oh and the bails are braking
the ground is shaking
and it cracks the sky true, the storms coming through

the rythm of my hard beats heavy to the sound
the forks light up and tear through the ground
the banks will burst the rivers in-bound
but we'll ride it out, batten down the hatches oh.

oh, the storm's coming
the thunder's rumbling
and the lightning will be here soon

oh and they wade through the flood
the thunders baying for blood
under a candle light hue, ill watch the storm with you

love the harmonica entry, you don't need the FX of the storm in my opinion, like the rustic vocal, reminiscent of dylan...very nice vibe to this...cool lyrics, simple and to the point. lovely harmony man!

Enjoyed the feel of the song. The storm and the harmonica together gives this a down home feel. Nice lyrics.
