Auld Lang Syne - Ce n'est qu'un au revoir

Story Behind The Song

All locked down because of the virus, we couldn't hold our April 2020 folk session at The Top here in Maret, Belgium. So some regulars plus a friend in Australia each recorded mp3 tracks at home. Mixed down (or up), they became one joint rendering of "Auld Lang Syne" by From The Top. An apt song - both wistful and hopeful. And perhaps even more so in its French version, "Ce n'est qu'un au revoir" (It's just an au revoir). We're dedicating it to all the key workers worldwide who are putting their lives on the line for us. Best to all and stay safe. The beat goes on.
