Lyrics

THE SKEPTICAL INQUIRER
[HarryBudini]

Will you please calm down - did you see a ghost?
Do you think you are the guests - of some peculiar host
I'm afraid I must suggest - to take into account
Some other explanation - slightly more earthbound

There is no proof
That these childish beliefs
Are something more than just
A perception goof.
I'm quite keen
To raise some doubts
about the nature of your
ectoplasmic cloud.

Sir, I would like to test - the replicability
of your interesting experiment - on telepathy
Although I bet that when we will try - to replicate
The hittings will go down - at just chance rate

There is no proof
That these childish beliefs
Are something more than just
A perception goof.
I'm quite keen
To raise some doubts
about the nature of your
ectoplasmic cloud.

Keep doing what you love!

vocal was different for me but it worked for this song. Good guitar solo. I think overall the song was good but some of the lyrics were not clear. could be just a mix level thing. instrumentation was good overall. good luck.

Bouncy little groove. It is reminiscent of something the Beatles would do. I like the concept of the song and believe you have the beginnings of a great piece here. Good transitions and rhythm.

Quirky track that reminded me of some stuff by the British act XTC.

NICE GUITAR SOLO
BAR MUSIC
ORGAN RUN IS NICE

Creative beat.

I use to listen to this style of music when I was growing up. So, I like it! Vocalist has a nice Alternative rock tone. Works for this type of song very well! Arrangement was great!

The organ was really nice, along with the guitar solo later. The song has a happy vibe to it.

I did like the melody a lot, I could not understand the lyric, so I wonder what it was saying. it was a nice melody.

I never heard a sound like this. I can see this as part of a particular sound track. Its definitely unique

Hey! I liked the melody line. It has a measure of Beatles sensibilities built in it. I really liked the happy vibe and I appreciate the upbeat nature. I've never heard a song about ghosts. Funny! It would be well suited for a children's story, on the lines of "Carole King's Really Rosy album, one of my favorites.

This song is reminiscent of the Beatles, Sgt. Pepper...to me. I had a hard time understanding the lyrics, so I couldn't name the song. Could be used in a comedy movie soundtrack.

Nice good song, very nice voice and instruments.

I like the lyrics got that 70s feel about it and the music sounds great.

I really like the bass guitar and the keyboards

The song has a kind of fun 70's vibe, with the organ sound and the rhythm. I liked the organ riffs, as well. The intro is nice.

The melody is nice, (though I think it would be even better if I could understand the words) and I like the addition of the distorted electric guitar that comes in after the 1st verse.

The instrumentation is great, musically it's strong. Nice structure and arrangement.

An interesting experiment (not really). Doesn't work. Zany, nonsensical, even though bustin' makes me feel good. It's very annoying when I'm trying to review proper songs and stuff like this keeps cropping up along with human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

This song has a righteous feel of late sixties Buffalo Springfield due to the tones of the jangle of the electric guitar and the bright acoustic. The interplay is one of the highlights of the song. This one is a fun one with lots of things going on here and there to pique one's interests. I loved the addition of the clavinet.
