Story Behind The Song

My first intention was brazenly commercial. To write a song for a mobile device ad. As the concept took shape, I realized I needed to add some interest as to how she got to that point so I created a storyline of external forces controlling her life, only for her to realize she held her destiny in her own hand. And her destiny is called Verizon.
