Story Behind The Song
I have song this song a cappella since I was 18, so I thought to put it to a recording. I sang this a cappella and my producer Joe gave this version rhythm which I like. I try to make the songs my own as I am not a song writer YET! So I asked Joe to do something untraditional with this version.

Lyrics
Summertime
Summertime and the living is easy
Fish are jumping and the cotton is high
Though your daddy's rich
And your ma she's good lookin'
So hush, little baby, don't you cry
One of these mornins'
your goina' rise up, singing
Then you'll spread your wings
And you'll take the sky
But til that mornin'
there's a nothing can harm you
With mammy and daddy
Standing by
Summer Time
Summer Time
So hush little baby
Don't, don't, don't
You cry ....Summertime, Summertime
