In the days of Kings and dragons
And castles in the mist
There lived an evil tyrant
By sword and iron fist
He terrorized the country side
On his midnight horse
And all his icy heart desire
He claimed through deadly force

At the North end of a rainbow
In a cottage made of stone
To goodly gentle parents
A perfect child was born
In her eyes the angels twinkled
And her heart was pure as snow
More beautiful than sunlight
Through dewdrops she did grow

She caught his eye in the marketplace
That fateful foggy morn
And without permission granted
He took her for his own
She bore to him a son
An heir for his throne
Then he banished her from his kingdom
He took away her son and home
