Big Storm

Story Behind The Song

It was not on purpose Bryan wrote this as a minor train beat country tune but it came that way in his head. It's often compared to Ghost Rider In The Sky and other country song, then the latter instrument part, Led Zeppelin. When we were listening to the track during the recording, we weren't sure if the 'guy' dies at the end of the story. Producer Terry Oubre heard it, added the fatal shot of lightning at the end, ensuring the death of the poor guy.

Song Description

A song about feeling the end/death is near, and having to run away from it. There are two parts to this song: the first half describes a man sensing the doom getting closer to him, the latter musically depicts drops of rain turning into a big storm and the death of the man at the end.
