Let Life Come In

Story Behind The Song

I have been that woman and I have come to a realization in my life that I need to do what I feel compelled to do and not what other people always want me to do because mostly people want you to be like they are and not to go out and do great things on your own because they are too afraid to "take the plunge".

Lyrics

For so long she'd kept herself in a prison doing what others told her to. She thought of the past life she'd been living and asked herself"Is this really you?" all the dreams she wanted to follow got pushed away by others' needs. She'd lived long enough for others'now it's time to be set free. Break down those walls, cut the chains that tie you down, stand straight and tall. Plant your feet firmly on the ground. You've got to believe you have everything you need open your heart and then let life come in.
she knew it wouldn't be easy but she felt braver than before so she packed her bags never looking back and headed to the door. She didn't know where she was going but her life was now her own. She could learn and love make her own mistakes. Live the life she'd never know. change is good.
